   Love this ice maker!! I did a lot of research before buying and so far this has lived up to the ratings. Works quickly and isn’t too loud. Also my cat is absolutely obsessed with it! So bonus!!!!!

   We built a guest house on a farm we purchased and are living in it while we build a house. We have two fridges in the shop portion of the building but neither had icemakers. We installed this one in the kitchenette and connected it to a water line. It provides a lot of ice and it is shocking how fast it makes ice. It puts out a little noise but nothing really distracting and not an issue. The room it is in is in the living/kitchenette room in our guest quarters which is only 14' x 16'. We use this room to watch TV and eat our meals and it is definitely no louder than a small fridge and that is only while it is making ice. We have been using for a few months with zero issues. Occasionally you need to move the ice down as it will build up towards the back and block the sensor that tells it it's full. But even that it is not an issue.

   Finally after searching a pellet ice machine for a few months I bought this one from Thereye. I live in Florida and love to chew on ice. I saw that Thereye has good customer service and thought it will be worth the investment.
   It is an ice machine so yeah it makes noise doing its job, after a while I hardly notice it
   It is big and just clears my upper cabinets and it must have clearance on all sides for ventilation to prevent overheating
   Easy to clean and I buy descaler from amazon. I highly recommend cleaning often
   Easy to clean which I love
   After 6 months it started making a loud grinding noise, so I contacted Thereye and they sent an instruction sheet on ways to try to fix it - the response was very quick. I followed the instructions and sent a response back with a video about the issue. I was sent a new machine.
   Love this machine, love the customer service. I highly recommend Thereye and this countertop pellet ice machine

   I am a chronic ice cruncher and I had an opal ice machine for 4 years which served me very well. I paid $550 for it and used it everyday. When it started to show signs that it was at the end of its life, I researched and found this one. In comparison this model is so much better. It makes ice much faster, within 10 to 15 minutes. It is better insulated so it has to make ice less frequently because of melting. It's much quieter, despite reviews saying that it was noisy - my unit is not. The ice is comparable in texture. It's far easier to clean, refill and access the ice. Absolutely worth every penny!

   This product is definitely worth the price. It is extremely easy to use. I had a full bin of ice nuggets in 3 hours- it is very fast. The ice is exactly like Sonic’s ice. I’ve tried 4 other countertop ice makers and this one is by far the best. This countertop ice maker is not bulky either because let’s be honest, no one wants to give up more countertop space than they need to. Another feature of this ice maker is that there are two ways to fill the water. You can either pour water into the main reservoir or you hook the hose up to a different water supply. I like that it has a couple different options as not everyone has the same set up. This ice maker also has a clean cycle for when it gets mineral and scale build up. It’s very easy to clean. I would highly recommend this countertop ice maker for anyone in the market for one.

   I have ordered several ice makers and they all are horrible. Although this one is fairly large on an apartment countertop. So far, its quiet and makes ice quick. Its small nugget ice like Chic-fil-a and has been a great and fast solution. I really don’t have anything to complain about since having it for a month. I hope this will last for years to come.

   This wonderful ice maker is still going strong. Now that the weather is warmer again, I’ve been running it for about 7 hours a day and it’s still quiet and churning out lots of nuggets! Love love love this thing!
   
   Original review July 2022:
   I read all the five-star reviews, so my expectations were high. This ice maker delivers! It is churning out so many delicious chewable nuggets! I waited on this for a while until the price came down, it is SO worth it! I haven’t tried the cleaning feature yet, but it seems easy. The instruction manual was short and sweet.
   
   It was packaged really well - the inner box had a lift-off top and bottom, and it was well-wrapped in plastic and padded with styrofoam. There was a second outer manufacturer box as well, and then the third box was the Amazon outer shipping box. Arrived in perfect condition, except it was marked with an arrow to keep it upright, and Amazon packed it on its side.
   
   A few notes if you’re still on the fence:
   - It’s bigger than the stated dimensions, it’s 17 L x 17H x 10 W, so make sure you have enough counter space. It also has a fan on each side and the back and they suggest 6 inches clearance for those, so plan accordingly.I was going to put it against a wall on one side, but I didn’t for that reason.
   - make sure you let it sit for two hours before you try it out. It’s to let the refrigerant settle. (Amazon packed it on its side…) I cheated and turned it on after only 90 minutes because I couldn’t wait, and it was much slower making ice the first day. Day 2 was much faster, which I attribute to my jumping the gun on day 1…
   - it’s heavy. Really heavy. I had trouble getting it from my porch to inside the house because the outer box is HUGE. Be careful lifting it.
   - it makes some noise. About what I would expect from a quiet dishwasher. My husband said “it’s an appliance with a motor, of course it makes noise.” The gentle sound of the nuggets dropping is music to my ears, though!
   - it’s not a freezer. The ice will eventually melt and the water will be transformed into ice nuggets again. You’ll need to use it up or bag it for your freezer.
   
   I wish I had bought it sooner!
