   This is my first e-bike. I’ve been a cyclist since I was in high school (15 years ago), but had an emergency surgery that put me out of commission for a while. I’ve decided I’m ready to get back behind bars, but wore myself out so fast on my reliable road bike. I got this as a gift to myself to help me get back on the road, back on the bike, and to get back in shape. It can function as a normal bike but the pedal assist makes it feel like you’re being pushed from behind. On my first ride, I did almost 7 miles in 36 minutes, on a stretch that was mostly flat but had some inclines (live in WA state). It’s a great bike, hoping it lasts and serves me well. Caution, it did not come with a manual to put the bike together. The bike comes mostly assembled but does need minor construction such as the seat, kickstand, handle bars etc. No problem for me, since I’ve been a cyclist for years, but if you’re new to the game I would recommend taking it to a shop or maybe having a buddy help you out. Overall very satisfied.

   Added a handlebar riser and extension. Makes a world of difference for tall riders. The bike goes strong forever. I take it off road every weekend and it's holding up. 5 star.
   
   Update:
   I'm having a blast with this bike. Took it on some fairly east off trails and it did great.
   
   Got mine for $809 plus tax. Came undamaged. Watch video on Amazon for assembly instructions. A couple of components were affixed on the handle bars erroneously making assembly time double. The thing has got some kick. Haven't gotten it on the trails yet but will report back on its durability because I'm about to whoop this things butt.

   This bike is a great buy! It is my first ebike and I’m loving it. I have owned this bike for over a month now and rode it from 8 to 13 miles everyday and it is a keeper. Brakes work perfectly and it’s easy to operate and ride it. Definitely an awesome option for those who commute to work! Affordable, good for the environment, and fast. I hope it lasts years!
